Celebrating a Hometown Leader-Cassaundra Rouse Honored as an Amazing Woman of Rich Township

Illinois Tollway Executive Director Cassaundra Rouse, a proud Chicago Southland resident, was celebrated as one of the 2025 Amazing Women of Rich Township during an awards ceremony on March 20 in Tinley Park.
Rouse was among 22 exceptional women recognized for their remarkable achievements and contributions to their communities by Rich Township, which is comprised of 10 municipalities in the southwest suburbs.
From business leaders and educators to civic advocates and public servants, this year’s honorees represent the diverse strengths and talents of women across Rich Township who embody leadership, service and resilience.
A native Chicagoan, Rouse’s dedication to public service and community betterment is evident through her more than decade of experience at the Illinois Tollway and transportation industry leadership. Beyond her professional achievements, Rouse gives back to her community through volunteer work, supporting youth development and mentorship.
